Windmill is a 32-space all-age Community in Lemon Grove, San Diego County.

In 1992 Windmill was just another decaying trailer park. With significant financial assistance from the Lemon Grove Redevelopment Agency and the County of San Diego, we were able to purchase and completely renovate the community.

Improvements included:

• New underground utilities
• Security Wall
• Fencing
• New Streets
• Safety Lighting
• New Driveways

As part of the renovation, all homes in the community were repainted in time for the Grand Re-Opening in November 1993.

With its great location—one-half mile from the 94 Freeway, two blocks from the San Diego Trolley with retail shops and services nearby—and affordable rents, Windmill is an important housing resource for the Lemon Grove community.
