Welcome to Marineland, a 60-space all-age Community in Hermosa Beach, a beautiful Los Angeles County beach community.

Nestled just off Pier Avenue a few blocks from the Hermosa Beach Pier, Marineland could not be in a better location. A supermarket, drug store, banks, post office, restaurants, all manner of services, even City Hall are within easy walking distance. The Hermosa Beach Community Center is across the street and the excitement of Pier Plaza is only four blocks away.

In common with many Coastal mobile home communities, Marineland was threatened with possible closure. Fortunately for Marineland residents, the City of Hermosa Beach helped us obtain tax-exempt financing and in July 2004 we purchased the park, enabling us to bring the Millennium program to Marineland, as follows:

• Rents will be increased only in line with costs and with park needs.
  
  
• Funds are set aside to address deferred maintenance problems and to provide rental assistance to existing residents.

• All funds remaining after paying the bills and Millennium’s asset management fee remain in the park for improvements, rental assistance and other items suggested in consultation with the Homeowners’ Association.
  
  
• Our onsite staff is trained to be problem solvers, with support from Millennium to address our homeowners’ needs.
  
  
• Through homeowner meetings, our monthly magazine and other input, residents have a greater voice in how their community is operated. If that isn’t enough, the Homeowners’ Association will have an option to buy the park from Millennium in the future.
  
  
• Most important—Marineland is spared from closure and will remain an affordable mobile home community for many years.

We are pleased to offer Marineland as one of the few affordable housing options in the South Bay beach area.
